AGS Open House
The family of AGS is open to share concerns and suggestions of parents – both for academic and non-academic enhancement for an all-round development and to create a pressure free environment for the betterment of all the stakeholders of the school.
The purpose of open house is to
- Organize activities for interaction with resource persons, school counselors
- Conduct open parent interactive sessions
- One-on-one parent-teacher-student meetings
- welcome constructive suggestions and ideas from all
AGS conducts ‘AGS Open House’ every month to achieve the same purpose.

Workshops
Our school faculty teachers and students attend regular motivational workshops to improve their skills and to gain experience for the betterment. Skills like learning, communicating, listening and new bonding are developed through such platforms which have immense value for their upcoming future.
Moreover, our school is linked to the Hindustan Times Pace program for regular workshops as it continuously endeavors to add value to education and a new dimension to classroom teaching. The school also marks Parent Orientation Day, a series of presentations and tours for parents and families of new students every year.
School Labs
Discovery Room Going by the school’s mission, to give all round development to the child, the school provides an experimental foundation for the theoretical concepts introduced by their teachers as it is important that students have an opportunity to learn how to be observant, to really see what happens, and to deal with the information.
The platform is given right from Kindergarten level by making students understand the concepts of science such as The experiments done in various laboratories trains the students to
- make careful experimental observations and how to think about and draw conclusions from data
- learn how to write a technical report which communicates scientific information in a clear and concise
The Mathematics Labs
The Mathematics lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover Mathematics through doing. Many activities are present here with the possibility of generating further challenges and problems. The activities provide students an opportunity to make conjectures and test them, and to generalize observed patterns.
The Physics Lab
The Physics lab aids a student in establishing the relevance of the theory. It brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the concept of the subject. Students understand the difference between theory and application.
As per C.B.S.E. guidelines, the experiments are there for the students.
The Chemistry Lab
The smell of fumes that emanates from the Chemistry lab defines the young scientists into the making. The lab is thoroughly equipped and proves to be a platform for the inquisitive minds. All the experiments are carried out under vigilance of the teacher and lab assistant.
The Biology Lab
The Biology lab gives hands-on experience to the students in all aspects of the subject. There are live and preserved specimens of plants and animals to facilitate course experiments. Collection of permanent slides that proves to be a wealth of information for the students. All modern, scientific apparatus along with models and charts are used here.
French Lab
French lab facilitates classroom engagement and interaction via computer-based exercises and activities to maximize language immersion.
The purpose is to promote:
- Self-learning: The student progresses in self-guided training to achieve the goals and objectives.
- Practical Learning: Language labs allow students to reinforce material learned in class by putting them into practice through interactive activities.
